Control Your Career – Phase 4 – Initiate Action

This episode is about taking action toward your goals, hence the name - Initiate Action. Phase 4 takes what you outlined in Phase 3 and starts to put it in to action.

Since taking action toward your goals is going to be specific to the goals you outline for yourself, this episode will take three of the main career goals I see and outline some actions you can take if you're in one of these situations.

If you've been to my website, you'll notice that my resources are outlined using these three options as well, because most everyone falls into one of them.

I go through basic actions for those focused on career exploration, career management, and career advancement.

Debriefing is also an important part of this phase and the process overall. This episode also includes a few debrief questions I use with clients when we're evaluating their progress and where to focus next.

What's the action for this episode?

I mean, the title of this phase is Initiate Action, but my hope is that you've identified where you're at and what needs to happen to move forward. If you've done that, start working through the actions you've identified to reach your goal. and don't forget to debrief!
